Along the High Sierra Trail - 2021
One of my favorite Ansel Adams images of all time is his 1932 photograph titled Frozen Lake and Cliffs. Since I first learned about Ansel's iconic image, I've wanted to visit that location and was the one of the main reasons I chose this backpacking route across the Sierra Nevada in California. The route was 80+ miles and of course my trusty wooden 4x5 film camera went along on the trek!
All B&W images were created with a wooden 4x5 field camera on Ilford B&W film and available as enlargements in sizes up to 20x24 inches.
